ABOUT ROLANDO
I was born in Oakland, California, and I grew up mostly with my dad because my mom had a particular kind of lifestyle. Now I live in New York City where I perform stand up comedy, style for Billy Reid, and flock about the city capturing snippets in time with my Sony A7RV camera. My focus in life is to offer the skills Ive acquired over my decades of study in various fields to everything that I do. My Psychology experience influences my stand up, my photography experience correlates well with my work in fashion, and my writing and other studies glues threads through it all. I'm also politically driven, in that I think it's important for people to be informed, and even more so that they understand the ebbs and flows of society so they aren't too entranced with the primatological huff of the any given present day.
I've been writing and performing stand up comedy since 2008 and consistently strive to be as authentic and honest as possible, I've been a stylist for nearly six years and focus on the client experience and the creation of fashionable tailored clothing, and I'm a photographer and writer with an emphasis on the hard world and it's softer psychological counterpart.
